Under Mongolia’s social insurance legislation, a foreign national may be eligible to receive a pension from Mongolia’s Social Insurance Fund upon reaching the statutory retirement age, provided that the individual:
- Has paid social insurance contributions in Mongolia for more than 10 years;
- Holds a valid residence permit in Mongolia; and
- Is duly registered with the relevant social insurance authority.
Eligibility and pension benefits are subject to the applicable statutory requirements and an individual assessment by the relevant social insurance authority.
